§ Shopping & Driving with Akira Sendoh.

I'm currently harboring a crush on a local basketball player, who happens to resemble Sendoh Akira of Takehiko Inoue's Slam Dunk. I'd like to believe that this dream is a manifestation of that. Hehe. ^_^ I felt like a giddy schoolgirl after having this...

I - The Corner Store.

Dream Knowledge told me that I was the middle sibling of Yayoi and Hikoichi Aida, and I was helping them with shopping. I encountered a scene wherein Yayoi was stuck on the floor, at the corner of the store, while hoodlums vandalized the store: broke windows, spilled the contents of shelves on the floor.

I also thought that I was seeing what I was writing as a fanfic, and I was going to write in that Sendoh would come to the rescue of Yayoi.
I guess I'm what you would call a "shipper" of Sendoh/Yayoi, and I do write fanfictions in real life.

And that, he did. His mere presence scared the punks away, and he helps Yayoi to her feet. I then find myself more actively involved in the dream. I was wearing a thin white t-shirt and jeans.

Hikoichi came along, clueless as ever, and helped load the many groceries in the nearby car (colored white, strongly resembling a Kia Pride). Sendoh also gave a hand, offering to drive. I somehow ended up carrying a shallow "crate" which contained small potted plants (they reminded me a lot of the African Violets that my mom planted) and was filled with water. I was about to place it on the roof of the car, but some water spilled on my shirt. Sendoh inquired if I were ok, and I just brushed him off -- a wet shirt showed off my lacy black bra -- but he still insisted to see. I just crossed my hands over my chest. He made that nonchalant smile of his, "At least you're ok."

I was thinking he was a big pervert.

The bright and sunny weather of the place didn't really match with my mood.

II - The Drive.

It was then dark. Sendoh was at the wheel and Hikoichi beside him. I guess the place wasn't Japan, since the car was in left-hand drive. I was right behind the driver's seat with Yayoi right beside me.

Yayoi then turned into my Mom, and she started tickling me! Sendoh looked through the rearview mirror and I caught his eye. I then thought, "He looks like M.P...." (the local basketball player).

We were driving on a piece of land, surrounded by water. At some distant point, I'd catch a glimpse of amusement parks and their bright, starry lights. It made me think of Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away.

Mom & I started rummaging through a wicker bag between us, and sorted out our cosmetics. Sendoh and Hikoichi tossed some creams and lotions that we may have left in the front seats and we had a laugh.

We suddenly had a flat, and had to get out of the car. We parked on the right side of the road, and right across, over a large lake, I could see a roller coaster and a ferris wheel lit up. My mother stayed by the edge of the water with her cellphone, and Hikoichi volunteered to fix the flattened wheel. He told Sendoh to sit down, and he took my vacant seat, door open and brooding.

"What's wrong?" I asked him. He told me that he had a feeling that he had met me before, though he wasn't that sure. He asked me to kiss him... and that, I did.

I kissed him again, and I suddenly found that I was left in just my t-shirt. He ran his finger right between my legs. Dream Knowledge implied that he did that to "make sure" that I was the girl he met before, despite my not having any recollection of meeting him.

I was quite conscious of the fact that my Mom was just around...

Another car drives up our own, a dark blue one which resembles a Cadillac, and an old man in a purple bathrobe with his family (wife and 3 small kids), and they were looking for their lost kitten. They seemed to be a jolly bunch and mentioned that they've been all over the place -- Boston, Los Angeles, Washington state -- and still haven't found the little kitten. We kindly told them that we haven't seen any felines.

Hikoichi finally finished with his fixing the tires, and the sun started rising. To our horror, we realized that the water surrounding us was starting to rise -- fast.

III - The Airplanes.

We all got into the car real quick, and Sendoh stepped on the gas, avoiding the slower cars and the puddles of water forming at random edges of the road. We luckily came upon a higher road, turning right. We realized that it was an airport runway.

For some reasons, we found ourselves on foot, and were running along the stretch of road. An airplane flew over our heads, opposite the direction we were going, and people in parachutes jumped out of it, screaming and whooping for joy.

We got to the airport and were joined by my brothers. We were directed by some airport personnel to their V.I.P. lounge, located underground, with lush red carpets, yellow, gold and peach walls, ornate plants and jade statues. It also doubles as a classy Chinese restaurant. We went back up and canceled a flight.

Back down, Mom went on ahead with her siblings. I started looking for Sendoh but Dream Knowledge told me that he was on the "other side" of the restaurant, restricted for Japanese clients. My brothers ordered grilled squid and requested kare-kare. I ordered the same, and joined my mother and her family on their round table, chatting away.

I had my order canceled and got something else -- crab meat and vegetables (which is ironic since I currently am allergic to crab). My youngest brother, and a cousin of mine, A.L., sat at a different table, having a discussion of their own. A kid, which resembles my cousin, K.P., is telling jokes about not liking her food.

And I never saw Sendoh again.
