§ Driving a Bus in Canada and Other Adventures
I have never been to Canada. This dream comprises of one beginning, then the same sequence -- driving a bus -- repeating over and over, each having a different ending.
I - The Beginning.
I was supposed to be this popular red-headed celebrity being picked up from a party at the break of dawn. I get in my bus, getting myself together.
I then see that my bus didn't have a driver, but it is moving on its own. I'm now back to my "normal" self, and at the passenger seat is my old highschool crush. There was a lot of clutter at the driver's seat -- mostly my stuff. I had to get the things quickly out so I can at least see the pedals.
Unfortunately, my Crush told me to just start driving. So I did -- and we found ourselves in the middle of a highway in the middle of the night. So far so good, I could overtake trucks. I didn't know where to go, so I took the nearest exits that buses are authorized to take -- and it happened to be a winding tunnel. Unable to reach the breaks, I zigzagged uncontrollably and finally hit a wall.
It was somewhat implied that we died upon impact. Good thing this dream offers two lives more.
II - Round 2: He drives.
My Crush's voice told me that I should use the breaks. He took the wheel and drove once more into the highway, and successfully out of the winding bus-tunnel.
We came onto a park where there was a concert/party going on. We couldn't get through, so we decided to gate-crash. I found myself in the middle of a celebrity trap -- famous actors such as Jack Nicholson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jim Carrey, Nicolas Cage, John Cussack were present. I then came upon my current favorite actor, Paul Walker.
Or at least, someone that looked like him. And I've lost sight of my Crush.
I knew for a fact that Mr. Walker was tall (I stand a mere 5ft1"), but not as tall as to have his groin bump onto my face. >_<
I realized that he was an impostor as he didn't have the same physique as the well-built actor, but he was gangly, but just had the same facial features. I then became very fearful of the place, and my only trusted companion was out of sight. The park was very large and there were quite a lot of people, so I decided to try and look for the bus.
My fear increased when I saw that the Impostor was tagging a very untrustworthy-looking friend of his, as he saw a "hot Asian" who can give them "BJ's". I decided to run away towards the nearest exit, and I saw them coming after me. At the sidewalk, I didn't see any sign of the bus nor that of my crush. I bumped onto the side of a van and everything became black as I saw my pursuers' reflections on the glass.
III - Round 3: The Escape.
Back to my Crush driving the bus, we come upon a rickety and narrow iron bridge, suspended in chains. It was shaking.
We found ourselves attacked by renegade policemen by throwing gray colored basketballs at us. They were supposed to capture us and chain us to place.
Fast forward to our escape, we go past a burning fireplace, and out a door with nothing but a drop at our feet. Across at about 3 feet, a colorful wall with an ornate door stood. Out of it came a small blond little girl in a very colorful dress. She reminded me of Rainbow Brite.
A voice in my head told me to pretend to be some sort of attraction park animatronic. I knelt down, my head bowed, my arms falling to my side, as if at rest. "Je ne la connais pas, celle-la..." she said, referring to a character in a show that the "theme park" is supposed to represent.
"Comment tu t'appelles?" she asked, as she seemed to know that the animatronics are interactive. She always turned her head toward my top left field of view, and I saw a floating castle in a distance. It was supposed to be the place she came from, and her mother was a queen in her world. The voice in my head said that she was a spoiled child.
I moved stiffly, as a machine coming to life, "Je m'appelle Carole, et je suis la fée des couleurs!" I replied, accentuated with a faux giggle at the end. I went back to a "slumber" state.
The little girl ran her finger from the middle of my chest and was trying to pry my chin upwards. She also tried pushing me. I tried to resist, as I was supposed to be a statue. Abnormally strong as she was, I decided to swing backward and forward, "Un, deux, un, deux..." she chanted.
"Si tu es la fée des couleurs, fais-moi quelquechose!"
I just kept my robotic smile intact.
"Je suis la fille d'une reine! Donne-moi quelquechose!"
"Je ne peux pas!" I replied as gaily as I could, feeling the faux high-pitched giggle at the back of my throat, "Je donne de la joie à tous les enfants! Je ne joue pas aux favoris --"
"MAIS DONNE-MOI --!" I was slowly losing my patience and we weren't letting each other have the satisfaction of getting the last breath of our lines.
"Ce n'est pas bien de jouer les favoris. Tous les enfants doivent être heureux, et il ne faut pas que je choisisse parmi eux --"
I realized that I blew my cover. An animatronic wasn't supposed to engage in debates with annoying little pests. I sense the anger rising in the little girl, and her hair and her clothes turned into darker shades, her eyes gaining black and red circles around them.
"JE TE DIS DE --!"
"Et je te dis que..." I slowly lift my head, "JE NE PEUX PAS..." dramatically turn my head towards her, my face contorted in anger, slowly punctuating the last four words, "JOUER AUX FAVORIS!" I finally towered over her, in all my fairy-like anger.
She recoiled in terror, and she screamed as I raised my arm to throw some divine punishment upon a bad little girl like her. I knew that I wasn't supposed to have any power, but the vibrating feeling along my arm confirmed otherwise...
...Confirmed that my cellphone was vibrating, my alarm going off. ^_^

I really do hate dreams that end in fear. I actually woke up after that to a splitting headache and couldn't go to class afterwards. I guess the strong coffee I took a few hours earlier didn't help.
